PETROLEUM HAULAGE CONTRACT
Petrojam Limited invites contractors to submit bids for the provision of Haulage Services including transporting bunker fuel, heavy fuel oil, diesel oil, E10- 87 & 90 gasoline from its loading racks and storage installations in Kingston & St. Andrew and its bulk terminal in Montego Bay, St. James to various locations throughout the island.
To be considered eligible, bidders must submit the following with their bids:
- Valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC);
- Valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) certificate in the category of “Transportation and Haulage” (specializing in petroleum haulage);
- Valid registration as a haulage contractor under the Petroleum Quality Control Act 1990 issued by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining;
- Valid Petroleum Haulage Contractor Licence (in the name of the bidder) issued by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining; and
Valid calibration certificates for each tanker to be used in the conveyance of petroleum products.
Failure to submit the above documents will result in the rejection of the bid
Collection of Bidding Documents
Bidding documents will be available at a non-refundable cost of Three Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$3,000) from the Receptionist, Petrojam Limited’s Corporate Office, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, from Monday, March 27, 2017- April 13, 2017 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Failure to purchase the bidding document directly from Petrojam Limited shall result in the rejection of the Bid
Clarifications related to this project may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday, April 21, 2017 @ 2:00 p.m.
Deadline for Submission of Bids
Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the tender box labeled “Petroleum Haulage Contract” located in the Lobby at the Procurement Unit, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15, no later than Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00p.m. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Petrojam Limited, 75 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 15 on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:05p.m. Bidders and/or their representatives are invited to attend the opening.
Petrojam Limited is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point prior to the award of contract without incurring any liability to any of the participants.
